Behind Mandy's English are two passionate teachers, Mandy and Félix, who love sharing languages differently.
Co-founder & teacher
Certified to teach English and a native Chinese speaker, Mandy founded this school with Félix to share languages with both rigour and warmth. She tailors every lesson to the student, from complete beginner to advanced learner.
Co-founder & teacher
Ten years in Taiwan as an English teacher, with adults and children alike. Together with Mandy, whom he met in London, he founded Mandy's English in Belle-Île. Félix teaches English to adults and children, with a method that puts confidence and enjoyment first.
It all began in London, where Félix, who is French, and Mandy, who is Taiwanese, first met. A few years later they moved to Taiwan, Mandy's home country: Félix spent ten years there teaching English to children and adults alike, while Mandy taught too and ran the school's programmes as its programme manager. A decade spent moving between languages and cultures, watching students grow more confident one sentence at a time. That is the experience they brought back to Belle-Île when they founded Mandy's English: the high standards of Asia's language schools, built to the scale of an island, for a lively, personalised and warm way to learn, whether you live here all year round or are just passing through.
